# Pediatric Dental Care in Keshav Puram, New Delhi

> Bring your child for a first dental visit by their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth. Early, gentle visits help us spot problems while they are small and help your child see the clinic as a friendly place. After that, a check-up every six months is ideal.

- First visit: By age 1
- Check-ups: Every 6 months
- Pain: Gentle, child-friendly
- Consultation: From ₹100

## Who it is for

We care for children of every age, including:

- First visits for babies and toddlers
- Regular check-ups and cleanings
- Cavities in milk teeth
- Fluoride treatment and protective sealants
- Advice on habits such as thumb sucking and bottle feeding

**Why milk teeth matter**

- They help your child chew and speak clearly
- They hold space for the permanent teeth
- Decay in them can affect the teeth growing beneath

## What happens, step by step

1. **A friendly start.** Your child meets Dr. Sneha, often sitting on your lap.
2. **Gentle check.** A look at the teeth, gums and jaw, and how the teeth are coming in.
3. **Cleaning and fluoride.** A gentle clean and fluoride, if needed, to protect the teeth.
4. **Advice for parents.** Tips on brushing, feeding and habits for your child’s age.
5. **Next visit.** We plan the next check-up, usually in six months.

## How long it takes

- By age 1: the first visit
- Every 6 months: check-ups after that
- Short: visits that stay positive

Visits are kept short and gentle so children feel comfortable.

## Is it painful?

We keep children’s visits gentle and unhurried. Check-ups and fluoride do not hurt, and if a filling is needed the tooth is numbed first.

## Aftercare

- Brush twice daily with a soft brush from the first tooth.
- Use a rice-grain smear of fluoride toothpaste up to age three, then a pea-sized amount.
- Help with brushing until about age seven.
- Keep sweets for mealtimes and do not put your child to sleep with a bottle of milk or juice.

Call the clinic if your child has toothache, swelling or a knocked or broken tooth.

## Cost

Dr. Sneha confirms any treatment cost at the visit, before anything is done.

Consultation from ₹100.
