## What happens, step by step

1. **Smile planning.** Dr. Sneha plans the shape and shade, often with Digital Smile Designing.
2. **Preparing the teeth.** A very thin layer of enamel is removed from the front of each tooth, numbed if needed.
3. **Impression or scan.** A precise scan or mould is sent to the lab.
4. **Temporary veneers.** Temporaries may protect the teeth while the final veneers are made.
5. **Bonding the veneers.** The veneers are checked for fit and colour, then bonded in place.

## Is it painful?
